Read the following passage (about the use of AI in school education) and summarize it in 150–180 Japanese characters.
Your answer must include all three of the following points: (1) the traditional style of Japanese education, (2) the latest survey results / current situation, and (3) the author's opinion for the future.

For many decades, the Japanese education system has placed a heavy emphasis on memorizing facts and formulas. Students were expected to listen quietly to teachers and give the correct answers during exams. This method was effective for building a solid foundation of basic knowledge. However, the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now bringing a significant change to this traditional style of learning.

A recent survey conducted among high school students and teachers in Japan revealed interesting data about AI usage. According to the study, about 55% of students have used AI tools like ChatGPT to help with their homework or to summarize long texts. While many students find it helpful, nearly 70% of teachers expressed concern that relying too much on AI might weaken students' ability to think for themselves. Currently, schools are struggling to create new rules to balance the benefits of technology with the importance of independent thinking.

In my view, we should not simply ban AI in classrooms because it is a tool that will be essential in the future workplace. Instead of focusing on getting the "right" answer from AI, education should focus on teaching students how to ask the right questions. The goal of future education should be to develop critical thinking skills so that students can evaluate the information provided by AI. We must learn to cooperate with technology while maintaining our unique human creativity.

● Basic Principles of Summarizing (Do's and Don'ts)
1What to include (Do's)
Extract the topic sentence of each paragraph (what it is ultimately saying). If the instructions require survey results, keep specific numbers since they add credibility. Preserve the logical structure of contrasts and cause-effect relationships, such as "A used to be the case, but now B is."

2What to leave out (Don'ts)
Shorten or omit introductory phrases like "A recent survey revealed..."; generalize specific examples such as "ChatGPT" into broader terms like "AI tools"; and remove subjective or emotional modifiers like "interesting data," converting them into objective facts.
● Which Sentences to Summarize, and How
Key Sentence (Original)Summarizing Strategy / Practice
"...placed a heavy emphasis on memorizing facts and formulas."
Point 1: The traditional style of Japanese education
Condense "memorizing facts and formulas" into "memorizing knowledge."
これまでの日本の教育は知識の暗記に重きを置いてきたが、…
"...55% of students have used AI tools... nearly 70% of teachers expressed concern..."
Point 2: The latest survey results / current situation
Connect the contrasting positions of students and teachers with "while," including the specific figures.
調査では生徒の半数以上がAIを利用する一方、教師の約7割が思考力低下を懸念している。
"...should not simply ban AI... how to ask the right questions... develop critical thinking skills..."
Point 3: The author's opinion for the future
Link the main claim "against banning" with "developing the ability to ask questions (critical thinking)."

3Claim (solution and outlook)
"筆者は、AIを単に禁止するのではなく、対話を通じて問いを立てる力を養うべきだと主張する。技術と協調しつつ、批判的思考や人間独自の創造性を維持する教育を目指すべきだという意見だ。"

Keeping the three-part structure of "fact + data + opinion" in mind is the most important key to writing a passing answer.
